Job Description

Provides technical assistance to field personnel for the implementation of Chesapeake's Environmental, Health & Safety policies and procedures.  Work with the operations staff to collect and maintain required EHS data.  Work with the Corp EHS staff to provide interpretation, clarification and training and resolve problems. 



Job Requirements


  • A safety degree and 3-5 years of experience preferable in the oil and gas industry or no safety degree and 5+ years of experience
  • Effective oral and written skills
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills
  • Experience in computer programs such as Microsoft Office, Word, Excel
  • Knowledge of applicable safety and environmental statutes and regulations
  • Knowledge of oil and gas industry
  • Able to function in field conditions and inclement weather
  • Must have a valid State issued drivers license and be able to travel, including overnight travel, work evenings and weekends as required
