Position Description:
Morgan Stanley Global Wealth Management Group (GWMG) provides a range of wealth management products and services for affluent individuals, businesses and institutions. These services include brokerage and investment advisory, financial and wealth planning, credit and lending, cash management, annuities and insurance, retirement and trust. The Banking & Lending Group within GWMG is seeking a qualified Data Steward to join the Analytics team.

Skills Required:

  • 5 or more years working with mainframe and server-based loan and data systems in extracting data and ensuring that data integrity is optimal
  • Experience working with IT and Ops in improving and documenting data quality
  • Experience in working with analysts who rely on the data that the data steward supplies
  • Experience in scrubbing data sets so that they are usable by analysts and can be relied upon by senior management to make key business decisions
  • Excellent technical and communication skills
  • Demonstrated partnering and leadership skills
  • Highly proficient in the use of spreadsheet and database tools
  • B.A or B.S degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems; Finance or other technology/business-related field required
