Description:

Chartis International has an opportunity for a Senior Investment Accounting Analyst in our Finance division.

As a Senior Investment Accounting Analyst, your responsibilities will be:

Review subsidiary financial statements to ensure appropriate application of GAAP (FSP 115, FSP 157 etc...) and ensure the timely and accurate recording of all investment related transactions in the investment accounting systems.

Coordinate inter-company investment related transactions and ensure the appropriate entries are recorded.

Process investment accounting related adjustments and follow through with Foreign General entities to ensure the appropriate entries are recorded in their ledgers and reflected in their quarterly financial results.

Coordinate the OTTI process for Chartis International. Liaise with AIG Investment Accounting and Asset Management to ensure all holdings have been reviewed and OTTI is accurately calculated.

Provide support for the external reporting process, GAAP and STAT.

Provide investment accounting support as directed by Global Investment Accounting Director.
