Job Description
We are currently seeking a certified nuclear medicine technologist for a full-time contract opportunity in the Wilkes-Barre area! At least one year of experience of required. The hours will be Monday-Friday day shift, and you would be working alongside three other techs. If you would like to find out more, please contact Matt Shaffer at 866-492-9647. Performs all nuclear medicine procedures, demonstrates anatomy under investigation through proper patient positioning, technique selection, administration of radiopharmaceuticals and application of immobilization and radiation protection devices.

Responsibilities include:
  • Pleasantly greets patients, confirming their identification and correctness of the procedure. Introduces self and completely explains the examination procedure.

  • Coordinates and participates in a variety of technical procedures, including in vivo and in vitro studies; operates radiation detection and measurement instrumentation including stationary imaging devices, scintillation gamma and other apparatus for in vitro counting.


  • Qualifications include:
  • Level I & II

  • Graduate of an AMA approved Nuclear Medicine Technology training program and/or meets all state required educational & licensing standards.

  • Current BLS card via state regulation and/or contract specific language.

  • Current physical exam as required by state or contract specific regulations.

  • Current TB test or chest x-ray

  • Level II Position Requirements:

  • o Possesses at least two years of experience in the Nuclear Medicine field

    o One –two years prior supervisory or Team Lead experience.
