Description JOB SUMMARY
Varitronics, A Brady business, is seeking energetic, motivated, and enthusiastic professionals to sell our VariQuest Visual Learning Tools to Pre-K � Grade 12 schools and postsecondary institutions. The use of Varitronics products helps schools educate, motivate, communicate and raise funds. More than 28,000 North American schools use a Varitronics product and we are looking for the right individual to help us continue to grow.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Skills & Knowledge:
  • Prefer previous field commission sales or education experience.
  • Experience with PC based word processing and database software required.
  • Requires strong communication skills to effectively convey product features to benefits and close sales.

    Education: Bachelor�s degree in business, marketing, education or related field preferred.

    Computer: Must demonstrate computer proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Office.

    Reasoning Ability:
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

    Competencies: Excellent Presentation Skills, Drive for Results, Interpersonal Savvy, Listening, Time Management, Customer Focus

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The Education Consultant is responsible for meeting monthly-established sales quotas.
  • The Education Consultant is responsible for conducting 9 to 12 needs-based sales demonstrations each week onsite at schools via the provided Mobile Showroom
  • The Education Consultant must be able to successfully utilize Professional Selling Skills (PSS) techniques of opening, probing, supporting, overcoming indifference, and closing on each demo.
  • The Education Consultant will utilize our CRM for all relevant notes and tracking to follow up and close sales effectively.
  • The Education Consultant will attend tradeshows to establish relationships with prospects and customers, which may require overnight travel.
  • The Education Consultant must work closely with their Sales Manager to identify and strategize on key developmental and territory opportunities.
  • The Education Consultant will work with key internal departments and peers to represent customer viewpoints and ongoing development gaps ensuring issues affecting sales and customer satisfaction are resolved.

    JOB SPECIFICATIONS
