Instructional Developer

Job Description

Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for selecting innovative approaches and instructional strategies that allow for the development of learning assets that are engaging, immersive, intuitive to use, and improve performance; also responsible for QA reviews and standardization of content development

Will also assist faculty with the design, development, and delivery of learning assets and instructor training and provide ISD guidance. They will provide advice and act as consultants for latest trends, best practices, and recommendations such as maximizing reusable content objects to avoid unnecessary development costs or delays in time to market. The ISD will participate in the design and development of sound instructional materials, assist faculty with best practices, tools, job support aids, instructional strategies, and assessment recommendations.

Work onsite at Ft Belvoir

Required Education:
Requires BS/BA degree, Instructional Design or related field.

MS/MA desired.
Required Work Experience:
� Experience designing and developing web-based adult learning

� Ability to design engaging learning experiences using industry ISD best practices and design philosophy

� Ability to design FPD learning assets using best practice processes and applicable infusion of the latest technologies

� Ability to design classroom-based interactive instructional strategies

� Knowledgeable in the design of SCORM and Section 508 compliant courseware

Requires 2-5 years experience.
