    The Corrective Action Program Coordinator position is responsible for implementing the Corrective Action Program for the site to satisfy the requirements of 10CFR50 Appendix B Criterion XVI. This position provides leadership and oversight of the Corrective Action Program. Responsibilities include providing direction to site Performance Improvement Coordinators, investigators and line personnel in completion of assignments to ensure quality meets program requirements and management expectations. Personnel selected to this position must possess sufficient technical understanding of industry CAP standards, plant operating principals and programs to support technical reviews of organizations products and challenge evaluators and management when needed.

    CAP Program Leadership. Provide direction, consultation and guidance to the site Management team, the site Performance Improvement Coordinators, and site CAP program end users. This includes:
  • Leading Performance Improvement Coordinator meetings
  • Leading daily Management review of NCRs
  • Providing training for the CAP Program to site personnel
  • Sponsorship of fleet common CAP procedures including development and review of program changes/revisions.
  • Leading and/or facilitating Root Cause Investigations
  • Coordination of Passport Action Tracking upgradesCAP Program Implementation and Monitoring. Implementation of the site Corrective Action Program including:
  • Leading daily review of Nuclear Condition Reports to ensure appropriate classification, ownership and trending
  • Development and routine execution of Business Objects reports to continuously monitor the CAP program.
  • Coordination of the daily Nuclear Condition Report review meeting.
  • Review and grade Root Cause investigations, Adverse Investigations and PRI-1 effectiveness reviews and provide feedback to the site Management team and Performance Improvement coordinators.
  • Conduct the site CAP rollup meetings.
  • Prepare the site Trend reports.
  • Facilitate the monthly Self Evaluation meeting including agenda development and providing the CAP program overview presentation to the site management team.
  • Develop monthly CAP KPI data.Personnel who meet the technical and administrative requirements and are selected to qualify as CAP Coordinator must satisfactorily complete the Unit Evaluator Training Guide ADQ0002N and obtain Qualification as Root Cause Evaluator and serve in the station’s Emergency Response Organization.

    7-9 years of job related commercial nuclear experience and/or SRO license or certification is preferred.Applicant must have a successful track record working in a team environment.Associate’s degree from a two-year college or technical school is required, a four year bachelor’s degree or SRO license or certification is preferred. Two years of directly related experience in addition to the job related experience in lieu of the two-year college or technical school associate’s degree.Excellent communications skills are required, both oral and written.Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Software.Experience with INDUS Passport and Business Objects software desired.Satisfactory completion of plant system training.
