Job Description
Classification: Full-time
Compensation: $75,000 to $90,000 per year
Our client, a small retail company located in Chicago, is seeking a Financial Analyst to support their retail presence in the United States. This position will be located in Chicago, but will be responsible for locations all over the country. The primary responsibility of the job is to maximize sales and to minimize variable costs of retail operations for the organization. The Senior Financial Analyst will work very closely with the management team to assist them with the management of head count for each individual store as well as increasing the productivity levels during store hours from a financial perspective. This role will also be heavily involved in the management of inventory levels from a macro level. Finally, there is a component of this job that is focused on cost planning and sales forecasting. Job Requirements
To be considered for this high profile role, candidates should have a bachelor's degree in finance, 2+ years of previous retail experience and 2+ years of experience in a sales finance setting or financial analysis. Person should also be sales driven and results-oriented. This position also requires strong organizational, time management and interpersonal skills.
