Job Description
Position Overview
 
Management and development of processes, systems, and actions that assure that the Engineered Flow GBU of Pentair achieves optimal price realization while also meeting market share and market growth objectives.  This position is responsible for developing the GBU pricing strategies and implementing them within Marketing, Sales and Customer Service.

Responsibilities
Establish and implement pricing strategies for the product lines and vertical markets.
 
 
Lead the development and implementation of pricing systems, processes, and guidelines that allow Pentair to achieve its price realization goals.
 
 
 
Provide analysis and support to the Sales and Marketing organizations in the development of volume, price, and share strategies.
 
 
 
Assure that our pricing activities are consistent with Pentair’s legal and ethical standards.
 
Maximize OI through targeted pricing strategies.
 
 
 
Train Field Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service personnel in pricing strategies, processes, and guidelines.
 
 
 
 
 
 
Maintain, analyze, and communicate competitive pricing information so that appropriate personnel understand our pricing relative to competition.
 
 
 
Provide economic forecasts and analysis for the Sales and Operations Planning Process.  Use those projections to forecast future enclosure sales growth or decline.
 
 
 
Forecasting and analysis for strategic and financial plans.
 
 
 
Work with employees of the Pricing Department to effectively and efficiently roll out price increases within the Field Sales, distribution and customer bases.
 
 
 
Education and Experience
 
Bachelor’s Degree,  MBA or Masters degree strongly preferred.
Well-developed analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
Excellent oral and written skills.
Excellent computer skills.
Ability to influence others including customers, Field Sales, and executive management.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop rapport and leadership role.
 
 
Experience in the pump industry or other industrial manufacturing
Experience in the pricing field
