Latham & Watkins LLP is seeking a Human Resources Analyst for our Global Human Resources Department based in Washington, DC. As a Human Resources Analyst at Latham you will contribute your expertise to research and communicate trends, best practices and benchmarks for use by the department and by Human Resources Managers across the firm.  Your responsibilities as a Human Resources Analyst will include applying your human resources and project management expertise as well as your ability to develop productive relationships with all levels of our organization to accomplish these and other critical functions:

 

*        You will be responsible for the content of the Global Human Resources Department site on Latham's Intranet including ensuring the content is current and relevant.

*        After researching best practices, benchmarks and workforce & workplace trends across a broad array of topics relevant to the Human Resources department you will have the opportunity to presents your findings to managers across the department and the firm.

*        You will maintain project status and milestones for all Global Human Resources initiatives and report project status directly to the firm's Chief Human Resources officer.

*        As the point-of-contact for managers across the firm you will be responsible for creating and updating job descriptions while providing guidance regarding appropriate responsibilities to ensure jobs are developmentally appropriate, internally consistent, and are compliant with labor laws.

*        You will also serve as the point-of-contact for the firm regarding all employment policies published by the Global Human Resources department including working with the Director of Global Human Resources and Chief Human Resources Officer to ensure policies are reviewed on a regular basis for compliance with changes to laws and regulations.

An ideal candidate should have three years of human resources experience with demonstrated project management skills.
