GENERAL PURPOSE
Temporary position to maintain order and trouble ticket schedules, dispatching Field Service Technicians for installations, removals and repairs of telecommunications services. Oversees completion of daily workload. Escalates daily roadblocks to management. Processes inter-departmental order inquiries and escalation requests. Manages internal data bases. Insures workloads are completed daily and/or rescheduled to a future date
SUPERVISION RECEIVED:
Work under the supervision of the Centralized Dispatch Supervisor
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Receives, reviews and completes incoming customer service requests.
Monitors and assigns repair tickets for selected dispatch area.
Utilizes GPS program to track available Field Technicians.
Maintain installation schedules by utilizing order management systems.
Dispatches repair tickets to Field Technicians.
Logs trouble shooting and/or resolution notes in repair management system.
Allots time each day for report/spreadsheets for management review.
Maintains dispatch scheduled appointments by utilizing a calendaring system.
Reviews CPE (equipment) needs regular basis.
Perform routine and special assignments as directed by the immediate supervisor.
DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
Associates Degree, AA, or equivalent work experience.
Must have excellent communication, organizational, and planning skills.
Effective oral and written communications, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Must possess proficient PC skills in Microsoft Office
Must be able to work in a fast pace environment.
Valid driver's license.
Maintain excellent attendance record.
NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Extensive use of computers and applications. Must be a team oriented individual and also be able to work independently
