Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and maintain relationships with pension consultants.
  • Identify and cultivate prospects, initiate and follow up on new business opportunities, lead new business meetings and close sales to institutional accounts.
  • Provide market feedback regarding perception about the firm and products.
  • Provide guidance, but has no formal supervisory responsibility.
  • Assist in developing and launching new products.
  • Participate in other projects as requested by management.

 

Qualifications

 

  • 8 or more years of equity sales experience
  • Experience working with institutional consultants and plan sponsors in the Midwest required
  • MBA and/or CFA preferred
  • Excellent sales skills and in-depth product knowledge
  • Excellent understanding of the investment business and the firm's products and services
  • Stature and experience needed to cover the largest and most complex prospects and/or accounts
  • Consistently among the highest-producing sales representatives
  • Works cooperatively with others to accomplish objectives
