Description Borgess – Lee Memorial Hospital (B-LMH) has an excellent on-call (PRN), Speech and Language Pathologist position available.

Under direction of the Director of Rehabilitation is responsible for evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of patients with speech/language/hearing/cognitive disorders. In doing so develops and implements plans of treatment with long and short term goals. Functions as a member of an interdisciplinary team serving populations from birth to geriatrics. Follows Corporate Responsibility policies and completes modules as required.

Requirements
  1. Knowledge of Speech Pathology diagnostic evaluations and therapeutic plans of treatment usually acquired through the attainment of a Master’s Degree in Speech/Language Pathology from a college/university program (American Speech-Hearing Language Association accredited preferred).
  2. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech/Language from ASHA required.
  3. Approximately six to twelve months of on-the-job experience necessary in order to gain an in-depth understanding of Hospital policies, procedures and operations.
