As one of our Business Development Leaders, you will lead teams responsible for identifying, developing, and capturing large-scale new business opportunities in the aerospace/defense services or defense related construction markets. Activities include business opportunity identification, opportunity qualification, competitive position assessment, business capture strategy development, initial capture resource planning, and tactical business capture planning and execution.These positions require effective working relationships with customers and an entrepreneurial outlook focused on growing business in competitive markets either domestically or internationally. Successful leaders will work effectively with their team throughout the organization, both vertically and horizontally, as well as with domestic and international partners, customers, and consultants. Minimum Requirements:
Position requires a degreed business development leader with 15 or more years of experience leading Group BD/Capture efforts of large scale ($300M - $500M) DOD and Federal (NASA, DHS, CDC) contracts, including: strategy development, overall business development, and program/capture management; proven ability to market and close on pursuits that result in a majority of wins; strategic thinker with an understanding of emerging markets and needs of the customer; able to envision and explore potential industry partnerships to create new capabilities or enter new markets or white space opportunities.Requires broad industry knowledge and established industry related relationships in the aerospace/defense services or defense related construction markets; extensive experience in defense and government services such as Intelligence, major systems testing/management, facility/installations management and operations. Of keen interest is BD experience with Army TACOM; Defense Intelligence Agency, and NRO. Experience with both CONUS and OCONUS is desired.Requires the ability to recruit, attract, retain and evaluate personnel resources to support business growth objectives; demonstrated experience organizing and motivating a diverse set of individuals to act as a single and cohesive team in the pursuit of new business.Must possess very strong presentation, oral and written communications skills - writing samples will be required.Travel required.**Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain/maintain a Secret/TS level clearance. Active clearance preferred.**
