About the Job

The selected Interactive Manager will be responsible for management of multiple simultaneous projects which will require integrating other processes, teams, clients and resources in a matrix environment.  Tasks will include:

• Facilitating meetings with client stakeholders and working with other agency groups (account management, creative, user experience) to set project objectives and strategies for delivery.
• Develop project estimates and timelines and conduct all project budget reviews, in order to insure the best Cost Performance Index possible for the portfolio.
• Develop project plans, requirements documents and processes and then manage those projects and processes through to completion.
• Apply knowledge of best practices to project goals.
• Daily management, supervision and involvement with each individual team member to ensure scheduled task completion.
• "Look ahead" in order to keep assigned projects on schedule and work toward resolving issues before they became "fires".
• Bring all assigned projects in on time and within budget, while appropriately managing scope changes, in order to ultimately deliver a quality product.

What will be expected from the Interactive Manager

The successful candidate will need to have experience managing interactive and new-media projects in a major enterprise environment with the ability to manage several projects and priorities at once. They must have a solid understanding of project methodologies with a service-oriented & process-focused attitude toward business process modeling, workflow analysis and other SDLC initiatives. Other expectations:

• Experience in a client-facing role with exceptional presentation skills is necessary and ideally they will have a background in "Big 5" type consulting, working in fast-paced and budget-driven environments.
• All candidates must have demonstrated understanding of the SDLC, processes and methodologies and adherence to set standards.
• Any experience with Agile, Scrum, PMBOK/PMP, Six Sigma or other formal delivery strategies is a plus.
• Experience in an interactive marketing agency environment is a big plus.
• A four year college degree is mandatory for consideration.
