Job SummaryOHL is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Task Manager. This position is responsible for the following: - Works with CSR/Wave Planner and Operations Supervisor to determine work flow, labor assignments, and expedited/exception services to meet customer needs
- Manages competing demands from the Customer and Operators
- Maintains the equipment and work area in a neat, clean and 5S fashion, and reports service requests and assists in area clean up as needed
- Prints labels and ensures all Operators have orders to pull at all times
- Runs cycle counts and works closely with the Inventory Analysts
- Answers questions and addresses systems issues
- Drives Operations Excellence throughout the account
- Informs supervisor of any unsafe or hazardous working conditions
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school plus one to three years related experience or training in leading people, directing workflow in an RF environment, and receiving/shipping with powered industrial vehicles; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Position is flexible for the first 3 months of start up, and then will settle on a shift. Both 1st and 2nd shifts are needed. Specific hours are to be determined. Overtime will be frequent through the start up and seasonally to meet our customer’s needs.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate employees to safely meet established goals
- Strong warehouse management systems (WMS) experience and skill
- Previous experience with Excel and Windows based programs
- SAP experience is highly desired but not required
- Previous experience in an RF environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem solving skills
