Job Description

Job SummaryOHL is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Task Manager.  This position is responsible for the following:

  • Works with CSR/Wave Planner and Operations Supervisor to determine work flow, labor assignments, and expedited/exception services to meet customer needs
  • Manages competing demands from the Customer and Operators
  • Maintains the equipment and work area in a neat, clean and 5S fashion, and reports service requests and assists in area clean up as needed
  • Prints labels and ensures all Operators have orders to pull at all times
  • Runs cycle counts and works closely  with the Inventory Analysts
  • Answers questions and addresses systems issues
  • Drives Operations Excellence throughout the account
  • Informs supervisor of any unsafe or hazardous working conditions
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Candidate Qualifications

  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school plus one to three years related experience or training in leading people, directing workflow in an RF environment, and receiving/shipping with powered industrial vehicles; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Position is flexible for the first 3 months of start up, and then will settle on a shift. Both 1st and 2nd shifts are needed. Specific hours are to be determined. Overtime will be frequent through the start up and seasonally to meet our customer’s needs.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate employees to safely meet established goals
  • Strong warehouse management systems (WMS) experience and skill
  • Previous experience with Excel and Windows based programs
  • SAP experience is highly desired but not required
  • Previous experience in an RF environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
