Job Summary:
Under broad management direction, underwrites and analyzes new and existing contract surety business. Administers and monitors underwriting rules and guidelines, insurance laws and regulations, and rating manuals. Works at the highest authority limits on assignments utilizing the highest degree of technical complexity and coordination. Markets companies' products and services through an agency plant or through the brokerage community. Develops/maintains most significant agency and /or broker relationships. Possesses a high and extensive level of technical knowledge and skills including product and industry. Will provide technical guidance, assistance, and training to lower level associates. Territory includes MN, ND and SD.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree Or Equivalent Work Experience
10 or more years of related surety bond experience required. Large account experience necessary.
