Description Enterprise Systems (ES) is vested with the authority and accountability for:
  • the development of Strategic Direction and Roadmaps for all Enterprise Systems;
  • the definition of Architecture, Strategy and Standards within the Enterprise Systems Domain;
  • an Enterprise Systems Project Execution Engine resourced by a talent pool deploying applications standards, tools and methods;
  • the development and maintenance of Enterprise-wide shared components and associated services;
  • the “silent running” of applications in accordance with established service levels with the business. Support components to include application service desk, base applications support, service delivery and business process analysis with key interfaces to the business, GOI and suppliers.

    The Integrated Solution Delivery Centre (ISDC) is the central design and development in ES. Within the ISDC, the Development Centre is composed of the technical services provided by the ES ISDC including Technical Environment, Security, Automated Testing, Technical Development, Tools and Licensing and Archiving. These services utilize common approaches to perform build, test, and cutover activities for both projects and production support The Technical Lead is a project-facing role responsible for articulating project demand into ISDC and acting within ISDC as an advocate and escalation point for the project.
  • Requirements
  • Thorough understanding of SAP Netweaver architecture.
  • At least 3 years experience in managing the deployment of infrastructure to support SAP systems.
  • Ability to create excellent working relationships across multiple geographically dispersed technical delivery and support teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • An ability to create and maintain detailed documentation
  • An ability to manage complexity and seek common solutions to difficult problems while focusing on both the big picture and immediate needs
  • A proven ability to engage in self directed work; maintaining schedules for multiple concurrent activities which span across different teams and geographies.
  • Proven experience managing budgets/programmes of ~$5-15M spend
  • An awareness of BP business and IT&S strategies
  • Qualification & Certification:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
