Salary Range: 67,613.00- 104,525.00/year

Locations: Des Moines, IA

Education: Degree in professional engineering or combination of education and experience.

Description: USDA Packers and Stockyards Program administers the Packers and Stockyards Act of 1921 (Act), as amended and supplemented. It is seeking an individual in the Des Moines regional office to serve as an Agricultural Engineer. The incumbent will enforce provisions of the Act primarily by conducting grading and weighing investigative work, and related work pertaining to the largest and most complex livestock, meat, and poultry operations.
