Design Engineer Job
Worldwide manufacturing company has immediate need for a Design Engineer to design the Tracks on Heavy Construction Equipment. Responsibilities - Initiate and develop design concepts to meet cost objectives, schedule, machine parameters and criteria by use of layouts and installation drawings
- Layout, design and create drawings via solid modeling, using Division CAD system, with guidance and direction provided by supervisor
- Must be able to utilize production control business system and personal computer programs such as Access, Exel, Word, Power Point
- Write work instructions for prototype and test technicians
- Monitor prototype builds and assure proper assembly
- Implement product design concepts for manufacturability with Manufacturing Engineering
Requirements - B.S. in Engineering
- Minimum of 3-5 years of design and engineering experience in mobile construction equipment
- Expertise in designing tracks/track assemblies is REQUIRED
- Experience designing attachments for construction equipment is REQUIRED
