Together we are building a novel sales force for the launch of a new product into the Rheumatology and Primary Care Marketplace. To that goal, we are seeking forward-thinking, creative sales professionals to take ownership of their territory in a 'non-pod' environment to build the business with an account focus. Pharmaceutical Sales Rep The Representative targets and promotes to Rheumatologists and Primary Care practitioners.. They manage their territory to develop successful business relationships with physician groups to achieve customer objectives. The Sales Reps will provide quality sales activities, coordinate and integrate with other customer facing functions, internal personnel & resources to fit customer needs while building relationships targeted at increasing market share and exceeding customer set quotas. Job Requirements
Minimum Requirements: - 4 year degree required - varying areas of study will be considered
- 2 years Pharmaceutical sales experience and/or 3 plus years of high performance Business to Business sales experience in life sciences.
- Previous experience in RA, Pain or GI preferred
- Proven experience in primary care selling environments a plus
- Proven success with in primary care and understanding retail pharmacy and payer market access strategies
- Understanding of current payer strategies and patient economics, i.e., co-pays at various tier levels
- Documented consistent success in sales positions
- Ability to work in a team in a selling situation
- Superior sales, analytical, and organizational skills are essential
- Demonstrated leadership in community and/or professional organizations
- Ability to learn new clinical concepts and understand the health care marketplace
