Directors, Medical Service Lines
Kaiser Permanente’s Mid-Atlantic region is currently expanding its management team. As a result excellent opportunities are now available for health care professionals who are proven strategic thinkers with extensive experience in hospital or other health care operations. As we look to grow and expand the region’s operational infrastructure, we will look to these individuals to make significant contributions to that growth.   •  Critical Care and Hospital Services, Northern Virginia, Job number MD.0901550
  •  Critical Care and Hospital Services, Montgomery and Prince Georges Counties and the District of Columbia, Job number MD.0901545
  •  Maternal Child Medicine, Montgomery and Prince Georges Counties and the District of Columbia, Job number MD.0901546

    In this role, you will partner with service chiefs to develop service delivery plans and staffing models to meet access and internalization goals. You will also be responsible for overseeing the budget and clinical staff and ensuring the prompt delivery of quality service to our members at all times.

    Requirements for this position include the following:

  •  Bachelor’s degree in health care administration, nursing administration, business administration or public health; a master’s degree is preferred
  •  Five years’ experience as a line manager in a health care delivery organization
  •  Experience in a managed care setting is preferred
  •  A proven track record as a strategic thinker able to see the big picture, identify issues quickly, and provide effective solutions
  •  A commitment to ensuring quality health care for all of our members
