This is a great opportunity for someone with highly technical knowledge in molecular biology, cell biology or biochem as the person selected for this position will be responsible for handling customer technical questions.

Responsibilities: ' Developing the Quality Control and Technical Support departments. ' Working closely with the other departments to ensure each customer has an outstanding experience. ' Meeting all departmental goals to include: Environmental Health and Safety, Budget, Personnel Management, and Technical Support. ' Writing and improving SOPs for continued quality improvement. ' Driving design for the manufacturability of new products
Requirements: ' MSc in a Biological Science (molecular biology, cell biology, biochem), PhD preferred ' Formal management training or MBA ' Five years quality control management, direct customer contact experience preferred ' Minimum five years technical help management in a biological science industry ' Experience in personnel management and development ' Working knowledge of document control and ERP software ' Working knowledge of ISO processes ' Six Sigma experience would be highly preferred ' Ability to work in a production environment, requiring the ability to sit and stand for long periods of time. ' Ability to work safely with chemicals and hazardous materials
