Region Warehouse
Manage the Beltway Region Warehouse.
Provide general warehouse guidance/direction for all the warehouses in the region.
Oversee the Annual System Physical Inventory Process as well as Cycle Counts and surprise warehouse audits.
Develop a strategy to increase efficiency and effectiveness of warehouse operations including inventory management, staging and equipment handling processes, quality and logistics through out the region.
Maintain a short-term tactical view of the current supply chain process to ensure the smooth operation of the business and also maintain a long-term perspective and provide vision and leadership in the areas of process improvements and cost reduction.
Develop operating guidelines, policies and procedures for CPE and inventory management and warehousing.
Establishes inventory/CPE warehousing performance measures.
Manage additional projects as assigned.
Identify best practices within the region and work with system management to implement.
Other Duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Demonstrated Management experience in warehouse operations and logistics.
Experience in interacting with, and facilitating discussions between different levels of management.
College degree preferred
Experience in the Cable industry strongly preferred
Experience with vendor negotiations (e.g., contracts, pricing, volume purchases)
Experience with managing Logistics vendor relationships, costing and contracts
3 to 4 years of previous experience involving supply chain management, operations management
-Strong analytical and communication skills.
Travel as necessary; 50-75%.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as a team.
