Contracts Administrator - Supply Chain Management
ARAMARK is seeking a contracts administrator to support ARAMARK Supply Chain Management at its headquarters in Philadelphia. ARAMARK Supply Chain Management is the purchasing and procurement arm for the ARAMARK family of companies, purchasing a wide range of goods and services necessary for the ARAMARK Business Units to provide managed services to their clients and customers. The contracts administrator position will report to an Associate General Counsel supporting ARAMARK Supply Chain Management. Specific responsibilities: - Review, draft and negotiate a wide variety of contracts, leases, licenses, and subcontracts, and amendments thereto
- Analyze contractual requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, corporate policies and ARAMARK procedure
- Identify and articulate fundamental commercial contractual risks and issues (e.g., indemnity, limitation of liability, insurance, etc.)
- Serve as primary point of contract from ARAMARK Legal to Supply Chain Management personnel to facilitate the contracting process
- Proactively work with internal ARAMARK clients and external suppliers to resolve contractual issues; interface with difficult clients and engage in a professional, positive, constructive manner
- Prepare and disseminate updates and analyses regarding contracting status, compliance and modifications
- Draft memoranda and other correspondence relating to contracting processes
- Other duties as may be requested by ARAMARK Legal
- Bachelor's Degree required; J.D. and/or course work towards a J.D. preferred
- In lieu of J.D., professional contracts management certification, such as CCCM, CPCM, preferred
- Minimum 5 years work experience with a minimum of 2 years experience in a contracts administrator/manager position. Familiarity with managing outsourcing arrangements, preferred.
- Exceptional Detail-orientation and organization skills, with strong follow-through skills and professional approach
- Ability to work and think independently, possessing sound problem solving and analytical skills
- Responsive and client -service focused
- Willingly accepts additional responsibility, challenging tasks, and/or projects
- Exceptional drafting skills required coupled with strong communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
- Fully proficient in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook
