Wilber Hardee opened the first Hardee's restaurant in Rocky Mount, NC in 1960. Today, Hardee's is a favorite in the Midwest and South for its famous 'Thickburgers'- hearty 1/3, 1/2 and 2/3 pound burgers made with 100% Angus beef, served with a variety of toppings, such as the 'Frisco Thickburger' and the 'Jalapeno Thickburger.' Hardee's is also famous for its made-from-scratch breakfast biscuits, introduced in the 1970s, and which are still a favorite of many today.
Boddie-Noell Enterprises is the largest franchisee of Hardee's restaurants in the United States, with over 300 locations in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and Kentucky.
Job Purpose:
The Hardee's Restaurant Manager operates the restaurant in the absence of the Senior/General Manager. Assist in achieving sales growth through maintaining the highest standard in quality, service, and cleanliness with constant focus on profitability.
Job Functions:
Interview and hire adequate staff to operate the restaurant based on company standards and in compliance with state and federal regulations
Schedule sufficient staff to operate the restaurant and accommodate guest flow.
Control payroll to meet company labor cost standard.
Train and develop crew under the direction of the Senior/General Manager.
Maintain a cooperative, harmonious working relationship with management team and crew. Provide coaching, counseling, and discipline as warranted.
Conduct crew and management team meetings as needed to discuss operation procedures, promotions, safety, security, training, etc.
Maintain an adequate supply of products and items necessary to operate the restaurant. Control inventory to meet company GAP standard.
Maintain reports and records based on company standards and in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Maintain building and equipment using proper operating, cleaning, and preventive maintenance procedures.
Responsible for all cash. Ensure that cash procedures are adhered to.
Ensure personal appearance meets company standard and displays professionalism at all times.
Ensure all sanitation, safety and security policies and procedures are recognized and enforced to ensure a safe environment for all.
Perform other tasks as directed by the Sr./District Manager and at all times represent Boddie-Noell Enterprises, Inc. as a professional in every aspect of performance.
Requirements Must have current experience as a Restaurant Manager in casual dining concept.
