CADD OPERATOR I

PB's Indianapolis office has an immediate opening for an enthusiastic and motivated CADD Operator I in its Indianapolis office to work on bridge design projects and other exciting transportation projects in the Indianapolis region. The candidate will be working with experienced design staff in preparing engineering exhibits and drawings in support of roadway, tunnel and bridge design, as well as preparing Design Files to support the engineering process and development. The successful candidate will possess CADD production experience using MicroStation for highway, transportation, or bridge projects. Duties will include generating roadway and structure design files, and preparing planning and construction documents and exhibits from sketches and/or drawings. Senior level candidates must be able to work independently, direct the work of others, and mentor junior CADD staff. Requires a high school diploma plus two years specialized technical drafting, math, and computer training. Formal CADD training preferred. Position requires MicroStation and/or AutoCAD experience. Familiarity with INDOT's standards & Inroads experience is strongly preferred. Candidates should possess good organizational and communication (oral and written) skills and be able to work well in a team environment.

Requirements Minimum Experience: 2 years of bridge design experience
