Sr. Credit Account Executive - Manufacturing Overview
SCA Tissue North America is currently seeking a Sr. Credit Account Executive - Manufacturing to join our team in the Neenah, WI Service Excellence Center. Reporting to the Credit Supervisor, this role will be responsible for analyzing and managing risk, receivable quality, and cash flow for designated customer portfolio which entail higher profile and risk. This position manages credit strategies and corresponding customer financial relationships relative to customer sales strategies. This position will serve as a significant lead in the development and implementation of cash flow, customer financial analysis, and system advancements.
Main Tasks
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage customer A/R portfolio to company and department goals relative to risk, cash flow, turnover, and other performance metrics
- Analyze customer financial and business risk on a periodic and timely basis; Provide recommendations on credit parameters to Finance management
- Maintain on-going knowledge of customers' business, financing and end-user markets for pertinent risk
- Make decisions and control credit approval order processes, judiciously handling credit constraint and hold situations with customers
- Lead overall customer financial management with Sales personnel, pertaining to sales, market and profitability strategies
- Develop and manage high level customer financial relationships on behalf of company for receipt of financial information and related business; point person to negotiate courses of action regarding sales/receivable resolution and collection activities
- Enhance and dvelop efficient analytical and financial information tools including third party resources
- Execute and administer cash application process, receivables adjustment transactions and accounting reconciliation
- Analyze reporting and account reconciliation for receivables month end processes
- Assist with internal and external audit activities; identify non-compliance to department processes and procedures, and coordinate corrective action with supervisor
- Coordinate with banking personnel relative to cash receipts and processes
Key Competencies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree (major in Finance/Accounting)
- 5 years experience with credit, customer financial services or accounting related experience
- Sales aptitude with strong financial analysis and system application skills
- Must be able to judiciously balance sales and financial requirements of company in customer relationships and effectively resolve corresponding issues
- Conceptual business and financial market knowledge along with in depth understanding of corresponding analytical methodologies
- Excellent oral and written communication and negotiating skills
- An aptitude for detail, balancing multiple demands, strong team and overall organizational orientation, and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Previous experience with order to cash processes and corresponding systems; ability to develop enhanced business processes
- Strong computer skills, including elevated experience with Excel
