Malcolm Pirnie is seeking a Project Engineer ' Electrical discipline with design experience in the Water and Wastewater industry. This person will be the lead electrical engineer for our Houston office. This position will perform designs of power distribution systems up to 12,470 volt, substation design, ladder design, and communication system design. The position will provide engineering solutions to interface process monitoring and control systems with electrical and mechanical equipment, perform construction administration and field startup tasks and supervise staff engineers. The ideal candidate will have five to eight or more years relevant experience in the design of power distribution systems up to 12,470 volt, substation design, ladder design, and communication system design. Working knowledge of ETAP or SKM power management software is desirable. Two to four years Water and/or Wastewater Electrical system experience and preparing/managing budgets preferred.
