QA INSPECTOR / MECH INSPEC

Description Quality Control Inspector: (Mechanical)

In Quality Assurance, this individual will be work with all facets of manufacturing assisting in determining solutions to quality issues weather issue is design or setup.

Responsible for the inspection of materials, parts, processes and final products and documentation of the results.

Inspects close tolerance items using precision inspection equipment, procedures and set-ups.

Perform first article, in-process and final inspection.

Prepares and files all required quality documentation and records for inspection area.

Performs other duties as required or assigned.

Main Job Description:
Basic Function- Perform First Article, In-Process and Final dimensional or mechanical inspections on a diversified line of standard and/or critical parts, components, subassemblies, and assemblies in the receiving, assembly, test, machining and shipping areas.

Process and complete required quality documentation.

Assume responsibility for Calibration Program, DMR Program and Vendor approval process.

Demonstrate superior communication skills while interacting with co-workers, suppliers, and customers as required to address quality issues.
