Seeking an Electronic Assembler for a Multinational Manufacturer
Job Description
Our client, a Multinational Electronics Manufacturer in Elgin, has immediate needs for an Assembler. This is a 1 year contract position.
Normal Business Hours - Monday thru Friday
Pay Rate will be $11.00 per hour
Responsibilities Include:
Pre-inspection of printed circuit boards
Final clean
Inspect and package printed circuit boards,
Plasma panels and various electronic assemblies
Light assembly/disassembly of Plasma, MMD, DLP TV assemblies.
Responsible for chassis and rack assembly.
Inspect and clean printed circuit boards and assemblies.
May perform testing, labeling of the above and work with basic hand and power tools like a hot air heat gun, drill and cordless screw driver.
Assemble consumer electronic assemblies
Working hours: 40
Job Requirements
Requirements:
Must have previous electrical assembly experience in consumer electronics environment
Experience with SMT required
Ability to follow direction and take initiative.
Able to work in team environment as well as independently.
Strong communication - verbal and written.
May work in clean room environment.
