- Customize new and existing TIENET implementations for clients using database techniques, HTML design and scripting
- Consult with other support staff to provide a speedy resolution to customer problems when necessary
- Track and post all implementation and support activities and documents to data management systems including QuickBase and internal client relations management system
- Maintain updated knowledge and ability to use relevant applications
- Provide on-site, telephone and e-mail technical support to end users that are using the TIENET education management program and who possess varying technical abilities
- Work closely with Project Managers and MAXIMUS clients to provide technical consulting on system infrastructure and interoperability for hosting TIENET applications
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Participate in the software quality assurance (application testing) performing user testing, integration testing, unit testing and load testing
- Interact both onsite and offsite with key TIENET clients
- Ensure speedy and accurate responses to client questions, clarifications and issues
- Rapidly and accurately customize TIENET for customers
- Complete assignments in a timely fashion
- Contribute to the profitability of customer contracts
- Perform detail-oriented and thorough user testing, integration testing, unit testing and load testing in the software quality assurance area
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Technology, Business, Education, Special Education, Curriculum and Instruction or related field, and two years of technical support management experience
- Project management skills necessary to interface with large, complex school districts and/or state education agencies onsite, to provide support to and collaborate with MAXIMUS implementation Project Manager and the client project manager as it pertains to the technical portions of implementations
- Experience in the implementation and deployment of complex applications, systems integration and close customer interaction with a demonstrated ability to customize applications rapidly and integrate systems cohesively
- Demonstrated comfort in working with Windows Server and SQL Server
- Must be very familiar with hand-coding HTML (not using a WYSIWYG editor) and be comfortable with programming/scripting (including JavaScript and SQL) and relational databases (including Microsoft SQL Server)
- Good time management skills are necessary for this position
- The ability to solve problems is essential
- Software quality assurance (application testing) experience and skills represent added value for this job position
- Ability to provide customer service and perform second level and above help desk functions
- Must demonstrate a professional demeanor and be personable and polite to clients under all circumstances
- Demonstrated ability to learn technical concepts quickly
- Good time management and documentation skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with both clients and staff
- Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment
- Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently
- Ability to identify district needs and translate them into potential sales opportunities

- Ability to travel approximately 10-25% of the time
