Associate Analyst, Functional
Job Responsibilities:
(35%) Database Development/Management
Maintain the Fort Drum Operations, Facilities Calendar, and FY ARFORGEN (MountFORGEN) Projections spreadsheets. Maintain planning tools in a collaborative environment with hub and other BCTC sites in order to maximize training capability across the organization.
Provide input to all database and scenario builds for equipment, personnel, logistics, and other configurations in support of JLCCT-ERF (Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability Entity Federation Model) training events.
(25%) Assist the coordination, planning and development efforts of all levels of training.
Alternate BCTC Point of Contact for Exercise Planning; Assist plans Chief with operational control of Plans and Operations.
Monitor/track all activities in support of Individual and Collective Training to include Live, Virtual, Constructive, and Gaming.
Monitor/track the efforts in the coordination, planning and development of all levels of Individual and Collective Training.
Assist G3/S3s in determining and/or development of Individual and Collective training based on unit training objectives within the scope of the BCTC Training Program.
Assist in the development of milestones for planning, preparation and execution of Collective Training.
Facilitates planning conferences and IPRs in coodination with unit trainers, leading to event execution.
Assist with development of EXCON concept (with commander involvement) identifying key leader roles (blue, white, dual), functions to be replicated in higher HQ, expectations of OPFOR, MSEL Management, and tactical AAR plan.
Assist with development of communications requirements based on doctrinal communications, unit C2 systems, training objectives, unit response cell, and EXCON concept.
Assist with development of exercise training plans that integrate set-up and training requirements of response cells and/or RTOCs.
Monitor execution of training events and helps units adjust plans as needed.
(25%) Establish and/or maintain contact with key officials and technical authorities of the customer or other organizations. Identify and recommend which organizations can benefit from BCTC offered training based on ARFORGEN cycles, commanders' assessments, and historical training schedules.
(10%) Training Management
Attend exercise conferences for external exercises requiring BCTC participation.
Attend Battle Command Conferences as necessary to integrate Battle Command Concepts.
(5%) Direct participation and/or participate in special projects and perform additional duties as directed by BCTC Leadership.
Required Education:
