Position Summary: The GigaScale Systems Research Center (GSRC) seeks a highly motivated individual for the position of Operations Director. GSRC is a Princeton-led multi-university center with an annual operating budget of $5.5-6M and includes over 100 full and part-time researchers, faculty, and staff at 15 universities. The center is led by a Center Director, who is a Princeton faculty member. The Executive Director will be assisted in their responsibilities by a full time Program Administrator and a Webmaster (potentially outsourced).
Under the direction of the Center Director, the Operations Director manages all operational aspects of the center. Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following: overseeing all tasks done by the Program Administrator and Webmaster; long term operational planning with the Center Director; developing and maintaining liaisons with sponsors, sponsor companies, faculty, students, university offices and other center programs; representing Center Director at internal and external meetings (some travel required); planning and execution of seminars, webinars and conferences; analyzing financial statements and projections for fiscal responsibility, viability, and compliance; making decisions based on financial analysis; writing reports and ensuring reports are filed in a timely manner; website management for content and ongoing operation.

Seven to nine years related experience
Previous experience managing a small staff.
Prior experience in semiconductor/information technology research/industry.
Proficiency with MS Applications including Outlook. Willingness and ability to learn additional software packages such as databases, web conferencing, and website design.
Ability to travel to offsite events
