We are currently seeking a Manager, Sales & Business Operations. Reporting to the Director of Territory Management and Goaling, the Manager is key to implementing and maintaining Account Data and ensuing that goals and territories are accurate and in line with Commercial Strategy. This team is a critical component of the Global Operations team, which enables CEB to implement key business strategies quickly and accurately. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Manage Account Data quality and ensure official processes for Account maintenance are upheld. Manage a team in India that maintains data quality. Construct Sales and Service territories. Ensure territory construction is efficient, accurate and in line with core business initiatives. Partner with business representatives at all levels to understand issues and scope business priorities. Develop business solutions that are in line with business priorities. Define requirements and execute business analytics in response to business needs. Establish and manage process for maintaining accurate parameter files (e.g., goal uploads) for the global Sales and Member Services organization. Support analysis, review and maintenance of revenue goaling and forecasting. Serve as contact for questions about territory construction, goaling, and account maintenance. Partner with commercial revenue teams, Finance, and IT to coordinate maintenance and data integrity of the company’s CRM system as needed. Support the design and implementation of new business processes. Apply Project Management best practices to new initiatives as well as Continuous Improvement principles to existing business processes Assist in automation of current processes via use of macros and/or other advanced tools Assist with revenue tracking and analysis as needed
A successful candidate will possess:
Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business discipline, or display relevant proven experience Advanced MS Excel skills. Experience with macros and automation tools preferred Excellent attention to detail with the ability to methodically analyze and solve problems, recognize important issues and respond or escalate the issue as appropriate Superior time management skills and ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines. Experience with managing projects independently. Effective interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written) Experience with Salesforce.com a plus Must be a proactive, possess a high degree of intellectual curiosity, and have excellent organizational skills Prior experience with relational databases and reporting software such Business Objects is a plus.
