Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
The LQAR will work under the direction of the Project Engineer and is responsible for reporting all problems relative to quality, safety, and performance of the construction contract.
The LQAR will be experienced in the construction of large construction contracts and be responsible for monitoring on site to ensure that constructed features are in accordance with the plans and specifications and in compliance with all safety regulations.
The LQAR shall complete all required training by the Government and ensure that all QAR's complete all required training.
Period of performance will vary depending on the duration of the construction contracts assigned.
The QAR should be available two (2) months prior to contract award to permit sufficient time to complete training and security requirements and to become familiar with the plans and specifications for assign contracts.
The QAR will remain until work is completed on assigned contracts.
The assignment of the QAR shall end within one month after contract completion.
A work week is estimated to be 50 hours and may require night work.
Position requirements include, but are not limited to:
Minimum years of experience: 8+ years
Education required: AS Degree
Special considerations, specific technical experience, skills, etc.: experienced in the construction of large construction contracts
This position does require travel. Travel amount isnegligible.
A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required for this position.
This position does not manage others
