Our client is a niche Executive Search firm focusing on recruitment within the "front" and "middle" office of select Investment Banks and Institutional Investors. Through market and product knowledge, our client builds long term relationships with its clients and candidates, offering a truly value added recruitment practice. Our client has considerable experience providing both search and contingency services focusing on Portfolio, Risk and Investment Management. We have extensive experience of both search and recruitment within these markets with a proven track record on delivery for our clients.
An increase in the complexity of the trading environment, especially within the Capital Markets has led to far greater demands on the modern finance professional, our client's intention is to react to changes in the structure of their clients; in particular with the growing demand for highly skilled personnel within their niche area.
They have identified that opportunities in risk management have transformed over the last business cycle. Investment banks have seen a dramatic increase in quantitative requirements within their risk teams and this is coupled with a tightening of regulatory requirements placed upon them by various National and International government bodies. Accurate calculation and adherence to financial controls can save their clients from excessive expenditure in these areas.
The Investment Management world has also developed dramatically. Most noticeably, the new generation of buy side managers have become significantly more aligned with traditional proprietary trading desks resulting in a dramatic increase in their use of capital market instruments.
