About the Job

The selected SQL Server Developer will have broad responsibility for database development with some work on administration of the system as well.  Major responsibilities development and manipulation of SQL Server objects using TSQL and SSIS (supporting TSQL and C#).  Some .NET-based web development responsibilities could occur in the future.  Administration tasks would be performed on clustered SQL Server 2000/2005/2008 installations including Reporting and Analysis services.

What will be expected from the SQL Server DBA

The selected candidate will have expertise with database development and maintenance / monitoring for SQL Server 2000, 2005, 2008.  They will be expected to develop and manage SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) which will require use of Visual Studio 2005/2008 and knowledge of SQL Server integration with operating system (Windows 2003/2008).  Strong experience with T-SQL procedures, packages & triggers is necessary.
