Job Description 

Sales Representative -(SR) Sells new Small Accounts in assigned Territory (1-5 docs) and simple upgrades under 50k. May also assist Sales Executives (SE) and Strategic Account Managers (SAM) upon advance written approval of RVP by performing certain sales tasks such as site surveys, demo, etc.

 

 

THIS POSITION IS FOR THE LAS VEGAS, NV REGION - candidate must reside in the this region and have proven sales commissions and presence in the Las Vegas healthcare software sales arena.

TASKS RUN CONCURRENTLY:

- Selling new customer sales - revenue (1-5 docs), simple upgrades under 50k 40%
- Demo sales travel time 20%
- Demo preparation onsite and web-ex 30%
- Maintaining customer/prospect relationships bore/after sale 10%

- Sales Meeting, sales training classes, trade shows 20%
- Selling additional add on sales 50%
- Maintaining positive reference sites 10%
- Site visits, follow up meetings with customers 20%

REQUIRED QUALIFYING JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
o Minimum of 3 years selling ambulatory care practice management and/or medical records information systems, with a minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable quota performance.
o Sales Representatives must be highly motivated self-starters with excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, formal presentation skills before small and large groups, demonstrated problem solving ability and negotiation skills (with special emphasis on closing sales), experience managing territories and state-of-the-art products, good follow-through and time management skills, and attention to detail.
o Required travel is approx. 20% - 30% of the job.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFYING JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
o Attended Miller Heimen training courses
o Excellent public speaking skills
o Specialty specific knowledge (ex: Cardiology, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology etc).
o Familiar with Strategic selling initiatives.
