Overview:
Reporting to the Senior Director Tax Accounting this position will have responsibility for Local, State and Federal quarterly and annual tax calculations.
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
Overall Job Responsibilities:
- Preparation of US Federal / State & Local quarterly and annual income tax provision calculations. This includes both the recurring calculations and non-recurring calculations
- Remain aware of and adhere to department policies to ensure tax accounting quarterly & annual procedures are in compliance with required SOX control objectives.
- Account for uncertain tax positions in accordance with FASB Interpretation No. 48, Accounting for Uncertainty in Income Taxes, including related interest calculations and audit settlements
- Assist in the tax accounting for transactions (held-for-sale, discontinued operations, carve-out financial statements, restructurings, impairments, acquisitions)
- Maintain the integrity of the Tax Stream FAS 109 subledgers and FIN 48 software in support of the consolidated financial statements.
- Assist in preparation of income tax footnote disclosures
- Assist in special projects where needed.

Tax Accounting & Provisions: 100%
- 4 year degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or MST preferred.
- Minimum 4 years tax experience with U.S. income tax accounting/compliance
- PC proficient with Hyperion or similar software experience.
- Tax Stream experience preferred
- Solid written and oral communication skills.
- Solid teamwork ethic and organizational skills.
Travel: 5 -10% domestic
