On-Site Sales and Development Representative

  • Partner with Sales Representatives to further develop insurance company relationships.
  • Develop strong relationships with adjusters, team leaders, branch claims managers, and DRP (Direct Repair Program) coordinators to drive results in line with Macro and Micro sales strategies.
  • Participate in joint calls to body shops with claim center personnel.
  • Provide insight to local and national sales teams involving strategic initiatives to drive revenue and increase market share.
  • Assist in scheduling meetings with Claim Center Management, attend these meetings as well to provide additional account knowledge. This person will "own" the account.
  • Assist insurance company employees on questions regarding rental issues such as extensions and receivables. This position must be willing to be the "point person" for adjusters and management.
  • Ensure we are capturing all revenue opportunities (reservations) sent to Hertz.
  • Work on weekly past due receivables report.
  • Contact customers to discover reasons behind reservation "no shows".
  • Contact and notify customers regarding final day rental statuses.
  • Notify branch locations regarding customer final day rental statuses.

  • A college degree.
  • Strong commitment to customer service.
  • Well-developed oral and written communications skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively work independent of direct supervision.
  • Ability to work effectively with others.
  • Self-starter, quick learner and possess excellent decision making skills.
  • Strong leadership skills and be able to prioritize work to meet deadlines.
  • Prior sales experience.
  • Able to achieve and exceed sales goals.

 

  • General understanding of the insurance replacement business.
  • HLE Rental Administration Department experience.
  • Experience with frequently used Hertz systems such as HIRMS, HLES, HIRS, EDiCAR, GAR and Carrent.
