U.S. Bank is the leading innovative marketer of payment solutions within the fast growing prepaid card industry. Our prepaid team is highly motivated and expanding. We are seeking an individual who can proactively create a pipeline of sales to large and medium businesses nationally. This sales professional will be responsible for selling a variety of prepaid credit card products such as payroll, incentive, rebate, general spend, and others. Establish and achieve sales and budget goals and marketing strategies. Identify and monitor market trends and competitors actions in order to gain the competitive advantage. Identify product distribution opportunities by studying strategic objectives for products; collecting information regarding channel sales, account differentiation, sell-through, fulfillment, and profitability; integrating information across channels; optimizing resources; and identifying risks and benefits. Establish prospects by targeting specific channels and create a pipeline of business by various means including cold-calling. Work with prospects and clients to identify products and services that will result in sales success. Ensure all prospects and clients understand our prepaid products. Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience. - Minimum of five years of sales experience preferably in the financial services industry. - Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, customer service, and organizaitonal skills. - A proven track record of closing sales and the ability and drive to exceed sales goals established for the year. - PC proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office products, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint. - Ability to travel approximately 30% of the time. Preferred Skills/Experience - Advanced knowledge of sales and sales strategies. - Demonstrated new business development and relationship management skills. - Thorough knowledge of banking products/services, banking operations, and current market trends. - The ability to work well independently with limited direction. - Proven track record of selling and closing accounts. - Strong sales presentation and negotiation skills. - Prepaid credit card experience preferred. - A professional manner and ability to multi-task are essential.
