Job Description
Under minimal supervision, this position is responsible for managing the regional finance analyses services for its region and campuses seeking to improve performance. This includes, but is not limited to, assisting in the development of fiscal operating plans and forecasting. Additionally, the position may assist in identifying and evaluating regional and campus specific investment opportunities. This position may assist the Regional Director of Finance, Planning, & Analysis (RDFPA) with cross-functionality in the Accounting area.
 
Job Requirements
A thorough knowledge in the accounting or finance field as normally obtained through the completion of a bachelors degree in accounting, finance, business or related field required to perform the functions listed above. General knowledge of GAAP. Masters degree or accounting certification strongly preferred.

Must have four to five years of progressively responsible accounting, budgeting, and forecasting experience.

Must have one to two years progressively responsible experience managing staff to effectively monitor and develop subordinates.

Must be able to effectively communicate financial and non-financial information so that it is understood by individuals with diverse capabilities and interests.

Must be able to express information and concepts with conciseness and clarity when writing and speaking.

Must be a strategic thinker with strong financial and business analytical skills.

Must be collaborative and innovative with strong influencing skills.

Must have extensive knowledge of Hyperion, Oracle, or other budgeting, forecasting, or accounting software packages used to manage daily operations, collect and analyze data, and prepare complex plans and forecasts as described above.

Must have advanced expertise within Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other software packages to manage daily operations as described above.
