El Paso Corporation owns and operates North America's largest natural gas pipeline system. We are currently seeking an experienced, qualified and skilled candidate for our Central Maintenance Division located in the NUNNELLY,TN AREA.

ASSOCIATE PIPELINE MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST

* 2 - 5 years industry-related experience

* Experience and knowledge in operating and maintaining heavy equipment (excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, etc.); may be required to operate large truck and trailer hauling equipment

* Assist in hot tapping and stopple equipment, perform valve maintenance and leak survey's using flame ionization equipment, conduct pigging operations, utilize pipe cleaning equipment both internal and external, and have basic ability to read and interpret blueprints for both pipeline and plants

* Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate, troubleshoot and repair all types of mechanical equipment

* Previous welding experience a plus

* Requirements include a HS diploma or equivalent; a valid driver's license; computer skills; the ability to work in a team environment; and manual dexterity with the physical ability to work extended hours, climbing and lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds.
