    Perot Systems is currently looking for an Part Time Paid Actuarial Intern to join the Insurance Operations team in Lincoln, NE.

  • **Between 12 to 20 hours per week required. Daytime hours (between 8am and 5pm) Monday-Friday with flexibility to work around class schedules.

    Job Responsibilities:
  • Position involves developing, analyzing and validating statistical data (specifically relating to insurance product administration)
  • Provide mathematical analysis and confirm policy value calculations (such as Guideline Premium Calculations, Net Amount at Risk, Policy Value Forecasts, etc.)
  • Compile, analyze, and develop essential specifications for current and future insurance products

    Required Skills:
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and understanding of the requirements of life insurance products and/or annuities (and steps required to accurately administer these products)
  • Experienced and demonstrated use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook; minimum 1 year with each
  • Strong mathematical skills, demonstrated with completed college level actuarial coursework

    Desired Skills:
  • General technical knowledge (software) with Visual Basic experience preferred

    Minimum Educational Requirements:
  • High school degree or equivalent required
  • Candidates with at least 2 years of college level mathematics and/or actuarial science coursework are preferred
