Summary:
Responsible for handling telephone inquiries, following up on them and solving problems.
Professional presentations via telephone and good communication skills necessary.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Travels as directed to selected trade shows and special events to solicit orders or talks with
customers.

Explains construction and performance of various Company products and relative differences
between various types of like vehicles.

Advises owners on selection of new equipment and problems pertaining to repairs.

Describes function of vehicles in relation to sales merchandise.

Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm's production and
delivery schedules.

Displays or demonstrates product, using samples or catalog, and emphasizes salable features.

Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.

Qualification Requirements:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential

Ability to understand and apply knowledge of associated product to applications.
Ability to physically install and maintain described product on applications called out in
sales literature.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university program certificate; or one to two
years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional
journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of
managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions,
proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of
basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations
where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule
form.
