We are currently conducting a search for a Project Manager in our Bowie, MD office.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Meeting with clients.
Proposal preparation.
Staff utilization analyses.
Managing the production process.
Supervising project closeout towards procurement of the building permit.
Collecting of A/R’s, efficiency evaluations, profit evaluations and all basic financial management for projects.
Staff development and mentoring.
Business development, including attendance at marketing functions, business dinners/events, and cross marketing with other Bohler offices.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
BS in Civil Engineering the ability to obtain PE.
10 years of experience in civil/site design including concept site layout, subdivision design, zoning research and analysis.
Extensive knowledge of site grading, storm water management design, utility design.
Project management capabilities.
Good delegation skills.
Experience managing a staff.
Experience with making public presentations.
Client management.
Exposure to proposal preparation, budget tracking, forecasting work loads and staff development.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Good organizational skills and able to manage many projects at the same time.
Technical Skills:
In depth knowledge of civil site design and storm water management design.
Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, Microsoft Project.
Auto CADD knowledge (Version 2006) preferred.
Familiarity with Drainage Software – Storm CAD, Hydroflow, HydroCAD.
