Overview:

 

Tyco Electronics has an immediate need for an Interactive Marketing professional.  This position is responsible for developing and executing web marketing strategies for Tyco Electronic's web properties in alignment with critical business strategies.  

 

Reporting directly to the Senior Director, Global eBusiness, the Direcor of Interactive Marketing will have the opportunity to develop strategies and execute plans for Tyco Electronic's Websites.  This includes projects to increase website reach, define customer preference and value. Create programs and campaigns to generate revenue and provide ongoing online customer support & loyalty programs. In the Interactive Marketing role, you will also guide search engine marketing programs, partnerships and affiliate campaigns to increase on-line exposure and purchase opportunity for users. 

 

You will be the subject matter expert for establishing Tyco Electronic's brand preference by working with usability and creative design experts to create 'ideal' customer experiences with the goal of educating and creating brand loyalty.  In addition, you will lead projects to improve online selling and merchandising content and capability.

 

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Create interactive marketing strategy to increase online traffic, sales, customer preference and merchandising content and capability
  • Facilitate purchase by improving call to action throughout the site, enhance online sample orders and facilitate interaction with direct and indirect customers
  • Increase customer acquisition, quality and contact opt in
  • Communicate and employ best in class internet marketing practices to multiple global business units
  • Evaluate web project feasibility; provide initial scope, requirements guidance and business measures of success
  • Execute on defined eMarketing deliverables within the project plans. This includes supporting usability, creative design, email and campaign operations leveraging internal or external resources as needed
  • Work with cross functional teams including eBusiness, Product Managers, Sales, Marcom and IT to complete projects on time, on budget
  • Conduct monthly Business Reviews with Marcom and Business Unit marketing teams.Highlight strategy, projects, budgets, best practices, analytics reviews, etc.
  • Work closely with Sales and eBusiness partners in developing eCommerce solutions, including online merchandising and selling tools
Responsibilities & Qualifications:

 

  •      Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as eMarketing, Marketing, and/or Business or a minimum 5 years of demonstrated successful interactive, internet and/or ecommerce project management experience, including a strong understanding of online demand generation, online merchandising, online selling, and creative copy 

    • Technical knowledge with aspects of web design and deployment highly desirable.
    • Proven ability to lead a team with a broad set of customer needs within B2B & B2C segments
    • Demonstrated experience in working successfully in large, complex, aggressive organizations, balancing multiple assignments and deliverables simultaneously
    • Demonstrated ability to interface and successfully communicate with internal and external personnel including senior level management
    • Proven track record in all aspects of program and project management, metrics development, website analytics and search experience
