CAREER OPPORTUNITY As a member of MWV Consumer and Office Products, you will serve as the Associate Marketing Manager that will assist and support the Marketing Manager in the maintenance and execution of the Decorative Home/Office product lines. HOW YOU WILL IMPACT MWV As the Associate Marketing Manager, you will provide input on business line strategies and annual objectives, develop product line plans annually and identify license acquisition targets and develop proposed financial commitments. Additional responsibilities include, but are note limited to:
- Assist in the development of product pricing and comparative P&L analysis
- Identify product cost savings opportunities
- Assist in directing development of product artwork; review artwork, product specifications
- Manage annual sales collateral development – including catalogs, sales plan book, marketing bulletins
- Assist in identification and development of product line extension and new product development opportunities
- Assist in providing support to sales force via consultative input on sales strategy, product mix, pricing, and terms development
- Provide direction on stock display development
- Provide consultative input on account specific display and program development
- Ensure on-time delivery of products in accordance with published product availability dates
- Develop and deliver product presentations to internal and external customers as needed
- Assist in the development of annual competitive analysis update and competitive product comparison analysis
- Assist in the coordination of market research
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- Bachelor degree in Marketing or equivalent in relevant work related experience
- Minimum of 2 years experience in marketing, preferably in consumer products
- Understanding of 4 color printing and / or cut and sew product categories a plus
- Understanding of many diverse retail channels of distribution (not just mass market)
- Comfortable with 20% travel; some International travel could be required
