This position can be located in California, Nevada or Texas.Responsible for providing overall HR leadership and services for the West Region, which includes six Business Units: Pacific North, Southern California, Nevada, Rocky Mountains, Diagnostic Laboratory of Oklahoma and Texas Gulf Coast. Work closely in a matrixed relationship with Corp. HR and Regional leadership to ensure workforce development, productivity and engagement within the region. Develop and execute plans for the implementation of the required integration & standardization strategies and plans to ensure achievement of financial and organization performance/effectiveness goals. Ensure that the workforce and HR requirements for their regional business are aligned with its strategic objectives and desired culture (positive work environment). Develop and implement a broad range of effective, integrated HR solutions to address key business challenges while continuously improving the HR staff's capability and results. Serve on the regional business leadership team ensuring improved decision making considering a balance of business requirements, employee productivity & engagement and a focus on Patients, Growth and People. Duties and Responsibilities: - Provide overall HR functional leadership for the West region.
- Serve a key member of regional team, providing support on HR and other business matters for the regional Operations Vice President and Regional Sales Vice President, as well as for the Managing Directors and Sales Directors of the West Business Units.
- Lead and direct the Talent Agenda throughout the region.
- Direct and maintain various activities designed to promote a high level of employee engagement.
- Lead or participate in company HR initiatives involved in the development of various, programs, processes, etc.
- Direct the interpretation and consistent application of established HR programs and policies throughout the region.
- Maintain overall supervision of the organization's recruitment, placement and training programs, assuring compliance with all Title VII laws, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) regulations and with the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) regulations. Ensure that the business unit's Affirmative Action Program is compliant and up to date at all times.
- Work through employee relations issues in accordance with the organization's policies and all applicable federal and state laws and other regulations.
- Administer wage and salary policies and structures and performance appraisal programs; ensure the organization's compensation program is competitive and equitable and follows the Corporate Compensation Department's compensation philosophy and guidelines.

Education/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in related discipline with advanced degree desired.
- Black belt or green belt certification strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to define and implement a successful talent management strategy.
- Minimum of 10 years of contemporary / progressive HR experience, preferably in both generalist and staff roles.
- Successful HR leadership across multiple sites generating significant revenue (750+ million) supporting large employee populations (5,000+)
